May Arts + DCWV + Tombow!

Welcome to day 2 of the hop! May Arts + DCWV + Tombow is a triple wow!!
I made this fun card using a DCWV Dots box of cards for my base. A couple of fun prints from the Honey Chic Stack were attached with Tombow Xtreme permanent adhesive runner.

I made a frayed flower hair bow on 5/8" elastic ribbon very similar to the one Virginia made HERE.

I used the Tombow Fastener tabs to allow the cute hair bow to be easily removed!

And another DCWV panel attached to a plain gift bag makes it pretty wow! Satin pleats (5/8") along the bottome & 3/8" satin along the top- again using the xtreme permanent adhesive. A 1.5" satin bow tied at the top finishes it off!

Now you KNOW there is going to be a fab prize!!

The prize pack:
  • a stack from DCWV
  • a spool of ribbon from May Arts
  • Xtreme Adhesive, Power Tabs, Removable Adhesive and Fastener Tabs from Tombow

3 prize packs up for grabs, to win comment on each blog & like our Facebook pages.

May Arts + Art Anthology + Basically Bare

Welcome to day 2 of the blog hop!

I had a ton of fun combining May Arts, Art Anthology & Basically Bare products- here's what I came up with:

First up is a fun card I made using the 'Fanciful Frames' & 'Hats & Staches' from Basically Bare. I used the inside of one of the frames as a mask & sprayed with Art Anthology 'Waimea Bay'. Then I got to work on covering that frame in May Arts Black Denim ribbon- I LOVE how it turned out!

Next up another card with 'Hats & Staches'- this time I misted with Art Anthology's 'Heart'.

I tied some May Arts red, white & blue Baker's twine (funny that the French flag is the same color as ours!) & stamped 'MERCI' (using stamps from Practicing Creativity's 'carved love' set) below. This one makes me chuckle!

Last up I used the 'Happy Little Tree' set & Art Anthology Velvet paint in 'limeaid'.
The card base is embossed with a woodgrain pattern.

The 'grass' and 'apples' are both created using the Mini pom pom ribbon (olive & red).
Sentiment is from Lawn Fawn 'A good apple.'

Now you know there are prizes when the Ribbon Lady is involved in a hop!
Be sure to leave comments on all the blogs for more chances to win!

3 prizes up for grabs of: 1 spool of ribbon and $25 worth of good each for Art Anthology & Basically Bare!

The MIM challenge this week was to deboss a stamped image. I need to work on lining those dies up for sure!
