SAF 2015 Finale

I've got one final card for #stampafaire2015
I decided to wrap a few challenges in one-

I masked my card then inked it up with fresh ink, die cut the 'hello' from a glitter stack of DCWV paper and tucked parrot green twine under the die. Pretty Pink Posh sequins float up the inked section. The 'sunshine' is stamped in grey- so this ends up being a very Seahawks inspired color scheme! (The colors aren't showing as well in this photo as they look in person. darn.)

I had to fight with my modem to get this one up, so I am off to bed for tonight- looking forward to perusing the inspiration!!

Ribbon Resource: Customize your Decor

I've got a very pretty post up at The Ribbon Resource- head over to check it out!
A little birdie told me you should stop by the Ribbon Resource tomorrow- something very exciting is being announced!!
*squeal*
More on that tomorrow!!

His & Hers Cards at May Arts

Did you see what I created for May Arts?
Erin sent me the PTI wine bits- head over to check out the details!!

Since I've tied some twine around that ribbon I will add it to the #stampafaire2015 threads challenge!

SAF 2015: Pins & Needles Take 2

Last project for #stampafaire2015- and another one for the Pins & Needles Challenge!
I love listening to Melissa Phillips and her style is heavenly!
I used her double bow, stick pin, and glitter look for this card- so sweet.

The ribbon is May Arts 1/2" white wrinkled ribbon. I've had those pins forever- I'm not even sure who they are by, but hooray for actually using them! The patterned paper is another that's been in the too pretty to use category- pink paislee sweetness pad, I believe.
I added vellum leaves cut from Mum's the word dies & topped those with glitter too.

I will admit to wishing I'd placed a qualifying order after seeing the beautiful creations with the SAF set!
Thanks for stopping by! I can't believe I got 4 cards done after my chores were finished today!
Woohoo!

SAF 2015: Threads Challenge Take 2

I've got another card for the Threads Challenge at #stampafaire2015!

I used polka dot basics for the background, stamped off for an ombre look.
Doesn't Laura Basson make you giggle? I love to listen to her videos- she is so animated!!
I put an oval vellum layer down to diffuse the dots and added my 'happy' die cut (DCWV patterned paper) over my thread nest that I made using May Arts silver metallic string.
A little vellum flag was stamped with the 'birthday' and heat embossed with clear powder.

SAF 2015: Threads Challenge

The Threads challenge at #stampafaire2015 is a mighty fun one- I wish I had more time- I think I could use every single one of the twine techniques!
As soon as I saw the luggage tag tied buttons I knew I had to give that a shot!
I went a little further and did multiple buttons- pretty fun!

I used an embossing folder on one side of the card base, added my buttons with May Arts natural burlap string and stmaped my sentiment several times so that the pink shadows the brown ink.

SAF 2015: Pins & Needles Challenge

What a fun batch of challenges happening at PTI's #stampafaire2015!
I carved our some time to create today- such a great feeling!!
My first card puts machine stitching to work for the pins & needles challenge:

I die cut the 'birthday' from some scrap metallic paper, machine stitched it to a piece of patterned paper (Fancypants- The good life pad) and stamped the little addition to the sentiment above before attaching it to my card base. Click on the image for a better view!
Pretty CAS, and I like it :)

MIM #221: Masking Sentiments

This week the challenge for MIM is to mask your sentiments-
Here's what I came up with!

I used Mum's the Word with Sentiment Signs. I did outline the sentiment box as it did look like it was floating as Ashley had mentioned.
I love how this turned out!!

I've been out of town for quite awhile so lots to catch up on- as well as getting ready for back to school! Why does summer go so fast?

Hope you have a great week!
