Altenew June Challenge; MIM #254: Stenciling with Texture Paste; The Heart Desires #1

I've got several shares tonight!
Playing along with the Altenew challenge for the first time- I've put A Beautiful Day to use.

White embossing on vellum and ink on the back side to achieve the challenge colors. Pretty Pink Posh sequins sewn under the panel and a few across the front. Rather love how this looks!

I've used a Dreamweaver stencil with embossing paste & watercolors to play along with the MIM challenge:

Graceful Greetings is die cut & heat embossed. Love all the texture....

This one I forgot to post! Playing along with Tonya's first challenge! I love the nautical theme, the colors, and even though my tiles aren't the exact shape I was inspired by the tiles too :)

MIM #253: Reverse Stenciling

Popping in to post a card for this week's challenge: Reverse Stenciling. Betsy always has such fun techniques and I am really glad I gave this one a try!
This stencil is from Dreamweavers- I've used 2 inks on it and then both water & shimmer mist to achieve the slight blur.

Graceful Greetings is stamped with one of the inks used on the stencil (Momento Luxe Lilac Posies- but more magenta than lilac!)- by using my mini Misti I could stamp it several times to achieve a rich color. A few Pretty Pink Posh sequins & some ribbon peeks out the top & bottom to finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by & have a super week!

Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop: But first, Coffee

One more to share for the coffee hop!
I'm using some super cute Lil' Inker Stamps to create this yummy iced coffee! A bit of zigging, some ink spattters & Pretty Pink Posh sequins are all used.

Embossed card base & a strip of DCWV paper finish it off!
Hooray for Friday! Happy Hopping & thanks to Amy for another awesome coffee hop!
I've no doubt #amymademebuyit will be used much in the days to come!!

Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop: Thanks a Latte

I've got another project to share for the Coffee Lovers Hop!
I've created a pillow box (PTI die) and added a coffee cup with Reverse Confetti stamps & dies.

Patterned paper is all old Cosmo Cricket, a little PTI tiny tag is tied on with burlap string and an adhesive flower finishes it off. The perfect way to give a coffee gift card! :D

Thanks to Amy for another amazing hop & to all the people that make it around to comment on each post- you ARE super stars! Thank you so much! I'm barely finding time to create these days!!

MFT: Camp Create- Glitzy Glitter & Wonderful Watercolor

Well here's my entry for the MFT Camp Create!
I used glitter on the wings, wand & zigged this sweet pure innocence image right up. She's adorable & a card size I never make but rather like (4" square).

The MFT site is not loading so only linked to one of the challenges- I think it was the watercolor one? It was the Glitzy Glitter one! :D
I also need to retake that picture! Maybe tomorrow!

Create Along With Us: June 2016/ Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

I used Laurie's pretty card as my Create Along With Us inspiration for this tag! Loved the pattern she created on her base layer with a stencil- I created my own with a warm happiness too die.

I used stamps from Latte Love on the base and also embossed on the velum. I don't have a coffee word die that would fit this tag so tried to capture her look with ink and embossing powder.

I thought these ink colors were very summery- perfect for the summer coffee lovers hop!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Summer 2016 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop: Treat Yo Self

It's time for the Summer Coffee Lovers Blog HopAmy has done it again & put together an amazing lineup of sponsors to add to the fun!

I had created some fun coffee themed projects done & photographed before giving them but my computer did an automatic update yesterday and erased my entire hard drive. Boo.
It's at the computer shop & sounds like with lots of money they will recover my pics. In the meantime  I had a couple not-quality pics on my phone so thought I'd use them to play along!
This is an old g45 envelope with fab Lil Inkers coffee dies & stamp. The coffee sleeve is die cut from a Starbucks sleeve😉
A little black burlap string finishes it.
Again- sorry about the pic!!
Hoping to share more but posting without my computer makes me batty!

MIM #252: Shadowing With Markers

This week Danielle challenged us to use markers to shadow our die cut words.
Here's what I came up with:

I don't have any copics, but my trusty zigs worked great!
Scatter joy stamps for the flowers & wonderful words: hello for the sentiment & die cut word (I stacked 4 'hello's'). A few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear sequins finish it off (after much discussion about sequin placement with Karen!).

I threw Erin off last week linking before Sunday night, so I'm back to my late night linking! I've been working on end of the year gifts for Hadley's teachers (I'm determined to be done tomorrow- which means I will be finished a week early!)- and I nearly forgot to link at all! :D
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

MIM #251: Gradient Watercolor Die Cuts

This week Dawn challenged us to use watercolor gradient die cuts. I loved this technique and have already colored two more panels to use in a similar way!
Here's what I came up with:

I used a spellbinder cover plate for my panel after zigging the background & allowing it to dry. I actually applied the adhesive before I even removed the panel from the die & that seemed to work great!
I used a sentiment from Fillable Frames #8 & heat embossed it in white. I tied on a bit of yellow burlap string to finish it off.
My other panels are different colors- I know one will use the bitty butterfly coverplate!

I had a fun surprise this morning when Karen messaged me to tell me my origami money MIM card made the June PTI newsletter! So fun!! Almost makes up for setting my alarm for 4:40am tomorrow to go to work. Almost!
Have a great day & happy June 1!
