My first two cards feature the pretty Tropical Travelogue line! The colors are so vibrant!
I've used the new grosgrain/picot edge & topped it with Baker's twine!
Next up- I've used more of that trendy Paradise Postage paper, as well as a matching chipboard tag.
I've tied it on with 5/8" satin/grosgrain double band, and added a 3/8" sheer/iridescent pinstripe for good measure! I think the ribbons really accentuate the great colors in the paper!
Next is a banner that I love!
I've used the Kraft Recollections Paper- 'A glimpse of Paris'. Honestly- I may have squealed when I saw the gorgeous prints on the kraft paper!!! It spells out 'wish big'.
I've added several items from the 'Staples' collection! I stamped out the word 'wish' with the antique typewriter stamps (LOVE!), and punched them out with a 3/4" circle punch. There are Metal Butterflies & Flower Staples on each end. I used the Tropical Travelogue stickers to spell out the 'big'.
I like to back my banners with chipboard (AKA cereal boxes), and that's what I've done here. I machine stitched them for security. Would you like to hear about the ribbon? :)
I've used the 1/2" solid/wrinkled ribbon to hang the banner. Burlap string ties the panels together.
I put a piece of velvet ric rac under the top & bottom of the jute ribbon. The new woven burlap would be great here also.
The 5/8" satin pleats are perfect along the bottom. More burlap string for butterfly antennae!
So what do you think?
Here are all the people playing this week- be sure to stop by all the blogs & leave some love! (prizes may be involved! *wink*)
