May Arts & Lawn Fawn!

Lawn Fawn & May Arts are always such a fun combination!
I've got a couple of cards to share today- first off, a birthday card!
I started with Dewey Decimal paper, and embossed a birthday cake from year one in white powder.
 I used teal 5/8" twill, topped it with white mini pom poms, and tied it up with light blue mini cording!
Next I've got a fun 'just because' card!
This time I used paper from the bright side collection. I cut a polaroid with the say cheese die, then stamped a bird from fly free on vellum. The sentiment is also from fly free.
I layered two pieces 5/8" satin/scallop edge ribbon in olive on the bottom portion of the polaroid opening. I tied a simple bow in the new yellow burlap for a fun pop! love!

    I just love the teal birthday card, the paper and ribbon and heat embossed cake go together so well. Beautifully done. I like the vellum bird on the other card. Thanks for sharing.

    I love the olive lace along the bottom of the photo opening. I would not have thought to do that...it gives it a nice touch. Thanks for the chance to win some beautiful ribbons!

    Your cards are both so pretty. I love the color choices you made on both. On the first, I love how you tied the cord on top of the twill and topped it with those cute pom-poms! And on the second, I love the softness of the vellum bird against the blue background with the pops of color in the ribbon and twine you used. Thank you for sharing these wonderful cards!
