I was sent the 'floral lady' image, kraftboard royal heart kit,, and the stack art elements kit in 'storm'!
Here's what I came up with:
I kept seeing her as a mermaid, so I went with that feel & added the 3" gold mesh to tie it together!
You can barely see the flock, but her mica frame is very cool! There is also some micro gold glitter on her crown & necklace. The background is watercolored with ink- and I used some delicata ink to her hair to add more shimmer.
What do you think?
I was also sent the 'filly sketch' stamp! I decided to embellish a box with this image. I used a shipping box & did a quick acrylic wash of paint over the exterior.
I used more delicata ink to stamp her (stamping off for the image on the left), and on the image on the right I've embossed with the aged gold embossing enamel.
I added 1.5" grosgrain striped ribbon in pink to the top & bottom, and also created a pull.
More of that gold glitter to top the glitter crown from the kraftboard set!
Pink 3/8" velvet woven ribbon finishes the sides.
Another kraftboard element used here- I used the aged gold embossing powder over the entire piece & after heating stamped the 'scrolled medallion' image into it (I inked it with delicata first so that it wouldn't stick).
I used another small piece of 3/8" velvet on the inside to cover the seam & give it a finished appearance!
What do you think? Shipping box to keepsake box!
That's it for me today- but there's inspiration all week! Make sure you leave comments on all the stops for your chance to win of 3 sets of the following:
1 spool of ribbon and a jumbo cling set and a handle.
That means there will be 3 winners at the end of the week!
To win: comment on any stop along the way.
