So happy to be a part of the May Arts Autism Awareness Day Hop again this year!
(You can see my project from last year HERE); this year we were to use the puzzle piece as our inspiration!
Here's what I came up with:
I painted several puzzle pieces with acrylic paint & when they were dry I lightly distressed & used them on my card!
I used a Dreamweaver Stencil on the card base (I'm kind of addicted to them!)
I tied the new 3" navy tulle & the 5/8" periwinkle cotton/stripe ribbon on top of that. I added some white wired colored string, wrapping it around a pencil for the curl.
Make sure you stop by all the blogs for your chance at 3 spools from our "blue" ribbons - winner's choice. To win: post a comment along the way.

Love all the texture - nice card
ReplyDeleteWonderful puzzle card. I like the navy tulle you used.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. The blue really pops off the card. It is clean and simple but very interesting.
ReplyDeleteThis is very elegant with the white background and the ribbon. The blue puzzle pieces are the focal point, which is perfect for the cause.
ReplyDeleteLove the repurposed puzzle pieces!
ReplyDeleteI love that they do this every year and I love your card with the re-purposed puzzle pieces! My son and I just went to an ice cream social tonight to support the kick-off Autisim Awareness month! It was a great event!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun card!
ReplyDeleteLove the navy against the white. Clever coils, too!
