Tag! You're It! #21
Erin is the designer at Tag You're It- so I had to play along!
I cut a tag with a PTI tag die, and the house is from PTI's Love Lives Here (cut from a Starbucks sleeve!).
I don't have any coverplates, so Erin had sent me some cardstock cut with some of hers- perfect to put one to use here with embossing paste.
Cardstock is G45.
White May Arts 1.25" silk at the top & ribbon under the house is no longer available, but this one would be a good substitue!
I was inspired by her embossing paste honeycomb, green paper & die cut on top of ribbon :)

May Arts Flower Challenge Inspiration- Denim
The Ribbonistas are sharing flowers created with May Arts Ribbon to inspire you to join the new challenge!
Here's what I've created:
This denim barrette is so cute on my sweet girl!
I've used 1.5" denim in blue; using a spellbinders die I've cut a flower 'backing' from the ribbon & then rolled the ribbon to create the flower, hot gluing in place. This ribbon has a finished edge, so I trimmed one side to allow a bit of fraying.
A little 3/8" eyelet trim tucked into the center & finishes off the clip!
Make sure to head over to May Arts for more ribbon flower inspiration!!

MIM #210: Using Vellum to Soften Patterns
This week there were several ways shown to use vellum as an overlay.
With Teacher Appreciation Week this week I decided to use this technique on a box of cards from DCWV for Hadley's teacher.
Whose crazy idea was it to put an overlay on 32 cards?
I heat embossed the sentiment in 3 different colors
I do like how they turned out! The metallic on these cards is really fun- definitely didn't want to cover the whole thing!
I decorated the box & it's ready to go!
Hard to believe we are this far into the school year.
Kind of sad about it really- my baby is growing up so fast!
Hope you have a great week!
