Anniversary card

I made this card for my husband for our 9th anniversary (it was in April!). The paper is PTI poppy, DP I think is DCWV, the ribbon is from Michael's- and I can't remember who the slide is from- but it says 'happiness' on it. Stamps are PTI Life.

Preschool Valentine's

My sweet daughter and I made these for preschool! Yes, I know that was several months ago! I used the cricut to cut out the tag & heart. She distressed the edges with SU! ink and applied the 'bling'! I did thread the ribbon & staple, but I think she did a pretty great job! I think the DP is DCWV, but wouldn't promise it. Ribbon & bling from Michael's.

Hadley's last day of her first year of preschool!

Had's last day of school was June 11th. It was an amazing year, with an amazing teacher! We feel so grateful to have her as the introduction to formal education! So Hadley picked out a lovely perennial for her garden and a gift card to a great nursery. I made this card quickly as the time seems to be flying lately!!! PTI kraft cardstock, graph paper that Hadley cut out, SUPER old SU! shelf set, CTMH letters. I think it was PTI spring moss ink. Ribbon & button from my stash. PTI text background with SU brown ink- machine stiching. Would've liked to color it, but...!

Father's Day cards

This first one my daughter (4years old) did for her daddy. She checked out the stamps and said she wanted to do a lollipop for him. She chose the colors, stamped them, cut the stamped images out and used the cuttlebug to emboss the background paper! I did put the letters on for her, but she stamped it! I also tied the ribbon on, but she chose that too! Inside we printed out 'You're sweet'. Fun stuff. She does love to craft!

This one is for my dad- I did another one similar for my father-in-law. Pti craft cardstock, backgound basics: text, flourishes, twine, and tea distress ink. The focal image is from a really old SU set that I colored with prisma pencils and used my nestablilities to cut out- it's popped up on dimensionals. The ribbon & button are from my stash.

Can't believe I made this!

I made this apron for my sister's birthday- she'd mentioned liking all the cute aprons she'd been seeing. I am kind of a self-taught sewer. I've sewn window treatments, baby blankets, on cards, even canvas for our boat, but I'd never used a pattern! I was intimidated at even the thought of using a pattern! I saw this pattern at my local craft store & thought I'd give it a try. Turns out it was a quilter's pattern, so still not pattern paper involved. I didn't own a rotary cutter at the time ( my mother-in-law gave me one recently!) so it took a lot longer than anyone that knows what they're doing would've taken! Ha!

I'm not sure who the fabric is by, but it's so yummy it makes me happy just thinking about it!
The name of the pattern is 'Apron Jazz' by Barbara Brandeburg- #145-AJ
