More Moxie Sass

Yep, I'm loving the Taintor Challenge at Moxie Fab. I have a bunch of images saved on my computer... now getting something made out of them- that's another story!! Ha!
Pretty straightforward- PTI cardstock base, girl friday from Cosmo Cricket border punched & yummy polka dots (also PTI). I tried some UTEE, but not in any sort of rushed way, so the embossing on the dots is a little haphazard. The old jen probably would've been annoyed. New jen took a look, thought it reminded her of all the yummy embossing on MME paper & decided to like it! :)
Even more amazing- this one hit the mailbox within hours of completion!!
Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by to tell me what you think! Check out the other sass here!

Taintor-tude

There's a fun challenge going on at Moxie Fab right now- all about Anne Taintor. The funny thing is, I had just bought a Taintor magnet (this one)

she was one cocktail away from proving his mother right

the day this challenge came out! Is it that great minds think alike? Most likely!
I used some yummy Cosmo Cricket paper, MS twill, button from my stash. And how gorgeous is that punch on the side? I know, right! I just got that- it's a Martha punch- doily something, I think.
So what do you think?
Head over to Moxie Fab to see the other entries!

Watercoloring...

You can't blame a girl for trying here! I have been BUSY trying to get some challenge cards done for Joanne B's challenge! This one has watercoloring, stitching & pearls- and a buttony bow for good measure! I used the sweet image from My cute stamps, MME paper, ribbon & button from my stash. The bottom is punched with a fiskars scallop border, and there's stitching around most of the card (although it's hard to see). I also used a spica glitter pen to glitter her eyelids & the bottom of her skirt. (My daughter LOVED that!).
I can tell you this is the most cards I've done for a single challenge! :) I just love how this one turned out- and I already know who the recipient will be!
Thanks for stopping by!

Valentine....

Here's a Valentine I've been working on.... I used some clear cardstock (recycled from some packaging- so very green of me!). Added the glittered heart (Martha Stewart glitter) & inked the edges with PTI fresh snow. Die cut it with nesties & layered on a pink piece die cut & stamped with vintage labels (pti). Script is PTI text in pure poppy; pink ribbon & fun fur from my stash. This has some funky stitching- so I'm adding it to Joanne B's challenge- I can't tell you how much I'd love to win some MFT goodies & MME paper!!!
Thanks for stopping by!

Pretty stitched paper....

Here's a couple of cards I did after seeing this post over at Joanne B's. It's not the beloved paper, but it is My Mind's Eye, and stitched so I thought I'd put it in for her challenge. :)
The second one has MME paper & DCWV from the luxury pack on top. They both have PTI damask designs stamped in versamark, PTI craft bases, AMUSE ribbon & apron lace punch. I left off sentiments so that I could use them whenever I needed them! :)

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #21

So I thought I'd give Dawn's color challenge a try, since I had all the colors this time!
I started with a cream cardbase, and stamped PTI backgrounds: text across the bottom in SU! close to cocoa. Next I cut a panel of aqua mist, ran the lower portion through the cuttlebug with swiss dots, and then inked the dots, & corner rounded the top. I used giga guidelines in versamark, with guidelines 2 in vintage cream ink between the larger medallions. There are aqua pearls on the 3 center medallions that are uber cute! Not sure who makes them- I bought them at the local Ben Franklins. Lemon tart is border punched with the apron lace punch & MS twill in chocolate is tied across the focal panel. Sorry about the pic- it has been raining cats & dogs the last couple of days....
Joanne B is having a sweet challenge too, and since this card has pearls on it I thought I'd play in her challenge too!

EBTKS challenge #6 (2)

I wanted to do another card with the fun challenge of
wrapping paper at EBTKS. This one was for a birthday card!
I wrapped the gift in the same paper- it's uber cute! A white cardstock base, with CM pink cardstock run through the Cuttlebug with an embossing folder. I attached a strip of the wrapping paper to the pink, then wrapped it with PTI spring moss ribbon, and tied a little pink fun fur onto that. The focal image was cut with my cricut in pink paper and again with the wrapping. Side note- cricut not so happy cutting wrapping paper....
Chunky pink glitter for the frosting, and prima glitter for the little heart candle!
This has been a fun challenge! :)

Cosmo notepad!

Too cute, right? :)
PTI kraft for the notebook again. Cosmo Cricket girl friday (oh, how I love this paper!) for the pp. That's the backside of it on the little strip. I cut the "M" out of Tim Holtz grungeboard on my cricut, and painted it with distress paint-click on the pic to see the crackle better! The label stamp outlining it is PTI, with PTI spring moss ink. Doesn't it match lovely? Pom-poms stitched on (a little crazy!), and little tiny pearls next to the 'M'. I loved how this turned out!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!

EBTKS #6

I'm sneaking in for a fun challenge.... :) I have the same paper that Ann, the host, has & was planning to use that for the challenge until I saw that she already had!
I used white cardstock on this, and I believe CM red cardstock, that I ran through the cuttlebug with the swiss dot folder (I think they show up if you click on the pic!). And this was some of our Christmas wrap this year- so I'm using it on a thank you! The ribbon is from Michael's.
Super simple, but fun! :)

Another notebook

This notebook is also made from PTI kraft, this time pp is DCWV from the luxury pack (yay me for breaking into it!) Vintage cream (PTI) punched with scallop & apron lace, MS twill. That glittery flower is so yummy- not sure who the maker is though! And that's one of my little crocheted flowers with a flower brad (memory makers?) in the center. I covered the inside top with more of the pp, but didn't take a pic, and you get the idea from the last notebook!

Some notebooks....

I made a few little notebooks over the last month- but haven't had time to post them! The first one I used PTI kraft for the cover, PTI brown (chocolate?) die cut with nesties, and apron punched along the bottom, pp is MME (so yummy & glittery in person!). The corrugated layer? That's me being green- it's a sleeve from Starbucks! Stamp is ollllldddd SU! in PTI cream, and the words are Ali Edwards font from the computer on PTI vintage cream. Buttons from my stash, PTI twine. I tea stained that twill myself! :)

I'm out of steam, so I'll post another tomorrow....
Thanks for stopping by- and thank you so much to those that leave comments- honestly, they give me such a big smile!!!
