October 2015 PTI Blog Hop

A quick pop in to post a fun tag for October's PTI blog hop.
I used my new Meadow Greens Dies on DCWV paper (I stamped each leaf/cluster twice, once with the paper right side down so that I could have a double sided leaf/cluster- does that make sense?)
Tied the bunch of leaves with beautiful May Arts 1/4" red silk ribbon and adhered to the PTI tag.
Stamped the bottom with a sentiment from Merry Little Christmas.
Finished it off with 1.25" red silk, tied with ivory burlap string.

Love the CAS look while still getting dimension!

Happy Hopping!

Ribbon Resource Halloween Hop!

The Ribbonistas are hopping at Ribbon Resource to give you some Halloween ideas!
Here's what I've come up with:

A fun way to upcycle those aluminum cans!
After thoroughly washing I adhered approximately 40" of 1.5" orange grosgrain with scor-tape. I made sure to wrap it over the top and inside to cover any slightly sharp areas that were remaining.
A fun bow around the top with 5/8" cotton ribbon with black stripes only took about 30"
A spooky satin cut-out bat finishes it off!

Wouldn't it be so fun to give some treats like this?

Make sure to comment at all the Ribbonistas on the hop- there are 2 $20 Gift Cards to Ribbon Resource up for grabs!

Here's the line up for you!

2015 Coffee Lover's Blog Hop- #3 and final!

One last entry into the 2015 Coffee Lover's Hop
There were over 600 entries when I linked my last card!
WOW!!!
I had the inside of the coffee cup from my last card (from a digital cut file provided by Juliana at 17 turtles during the summer hop)- and I also had cardstock from all those paper spacers I made to create the shaker.
Since I was really liking that old MME paper I decided it deserved to be made into a card too!

Added a few Pretty Pink Posh sequins, and punched a hole in the top after using Warm Wishes Too from PTI to stamp the sentiment. (I was originally going to use it as a tag but liked the CAS look of it on a card!)

Orange 1.25" silk ribbon and ivory burlap string from Ribbon Resource (one of the sponsors on the hop! yay!)

Thank you for an amazing bunch of inspiration! I have a LOT of catching up to do on the hop!!
Thanks to Amy and crew for putting it all together!

Fall Coffee Lover's Blog Hop 2015 & MIM #225: Die Cut Shaped Boxes

I've got a fun little project to add to the 2015 Fall Coffee Lover's Hop!
I used the cut file that Juliana at 17 turtles gave to everyone during the summer hop!
I used the Make it Monday tutorial and turned it into a shaped box instead of a card :)

PTI Latte Love stamps & some crazy old MME cardstock- one that I had bought for scrapbooking (ahem.) and it was too pretty to cut.
I got over it- and happily I still like the paper (how often does our taste change & we don't like them anymore?)

Love.
Various fall colors of seed beads from my stash.

Sort of funny story. I tried using craft foam in my silhouette. It was not having it. So I started cutting cardstock to layer for the spacer. I *thought* it had cut all the way through.
Nope.
So I had to cut all of those spacers out by hand.
Sigh.
Good thing it's cute.
Thank you to Juliana for the awesome cut file, and to Amy and the gang for the amazing hop!
