May Arts + Stampendous!!

May Arts & Stampendous have teamed up for some summer fun!

My first project is an altered tag from the Artful Accent Blue & Green Decorative Tags.
I used the 'Life is a Picnic' sentiment stamped with versafine black ink (I masked off the little ant you will see below). The 1/4" adhesive scalloped border in robin's egg makes a great border along the top & bottom!
Celery green 1.25" silk & the new robin's egg 3/8" double faced satin finish up as the pretty tag tie!

Next up I used the same sentiment along with the fun picnicking ants on a summery card!
Both are stamped in versafine black ink. The 3/4" elastic/plaid ruffle ribbon in red seemed the perfect picnic accent! I topped it with the 3/8" adhesive velvet ric rac- fast & fun! A black button is tied with 1mm waxed cord in red.

That's it for me today- make sure you check out all the inspiration this week! Don't forget to leave comments- there's a $25 Ribbon Resource Gift Card up for grabs!!

MIM #215: Bringing the Inside Out

Finally found some time to create a card for MIM this week!
This is such a fun effect! It was very difficult for me to get a pic though!!!
Men of Life & Out to Sea sets used. Smokey shadow, aqua mist & silver delicata ink.
DCWV patterned paper & twinkling h2os painted on the sails.
Silver metallic string is looped loosely below the popped up (fussy cut) sailboat.

The happy is die cut from some silver metallic packaging- I can't even remember what it was from, but like a good craft hoarder I knew I'd put it to use!

Hope you all have a great week!

Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop/ PTI MIM #213: Cool Condensation/Watercolor Hop

Erin will be so proud of me!
I created a mask with the PTI hello die & washed twinkling H2O's over it.
I cut my coffee mug from Lawn Fawn paper & added glossy accents (it's an iced coffee of course!)- which you can't see AT ALL in this pic. (sorry about that!!)
A few sequins to finish!

Hoping to have some time to hop this week- Amy is beyond amazing putting this fab hop together again! I don't know how she does it!!
