My cousin had her 3rd baby girl March 22nd. All of the girls are 'A' names, so I thought this altered letter would work well, since they are likely sharing a room at some point! I wish I knew who the pp was by- it's really pretty! I used the little folder that came with the cuttlebug for the focal image. I didn't have any chipboard, so I used a cereal box! Hehe! I think I used acrylic paint for the pink & white, but it's been awhile.... added those cute tiny rhinestones for the wheel centers. The focal image is popped up on dimensionals. The green ribbon is PTI, all the other ribbon & buttons from my stash. I didn't have the swiss dot embossing folder yet when I made this card, so I'm looking at it wishing the white had those cute white embossed dots! Still pretty cute! Thanks for looking!!!

Karen Lockhart wicker (again!)
Well I loved that paper pieced chair so much that I had to do it again! This time I used a sketch from a card I loved on Jen del Muro's blog: http://iheart2stamp.com/2009/07/02/you-grow-girl/
I used the pp that I'd used last time too- I really loved it as well! It's stamped with SU! close to cocoa and colored with prisma pencils. I cut & embossed with nesties. I broke into my PTI ocean tides cardstock too- I'm pretty happy that I'm using not hoarding! Ha! The eyelets are memory makers. I made the flower with my cricut (george/basic shapes I think). I stamped one of the images from PTI's guidelines 2 in SU! really rust, and distressed the bottom layer with same ink. Crumpled 'em up a bit & added the brad from Joanns to the center. Popped it up on a dimensional. Look at me using my product!!! Hooray! Thanks for checking it out!!

mother's day card
This is the card I made for Mother's day for my sweet Mom! DP is provocraft, purple cardstock is PTI, ribbon from my stash. Stamp is a very old one from SU! stamped with brilliance & watercolored with SU! ink. Sentiment is from that set from Costco- wish I knew who it was! I cut & embossed with my rectangle nesties & popped it up with dimensionals. Did a little stitching too. My mom's fave flower is iris, so I was pleased with how this turned out!
Thanks so much for looking!

Mojo Monday 94
So I thought I'd try my hand at Mojo Monday! What the heck, right? I had a birthday card I needed to do, so why not use a sketch!
Cardstock is PTI, DP is K&Co. I got a huge set of stamps at Costco, and I can't remember who made them! I did stamp the image twice & pop the butterfly body up. It's stampology ink. I ran the green cardstock through a cuttlebug folder and the main image is cut & embossed with nesties. I stitched a little on the side & added fun fur. The flower is one from Joanns- it was a little too melon so I inked it up with the same ink as the focal image, but still a bit bright! I also added some tiny twinkles to the butterfly. A girl can never have too much bling!
Thanks for looking! :)

This was the birthday card I made for my bro-in-law (in May). I think the DP is provocraft. The stamps are from a really old SU! set. Green cardstock & base, button & jute from my stash. By the way, it is most difficult to thread jute through a button. mmhmmm.
I stamped with brilliance black, then watercolored the base of the packages & one package with ink (SU! close to cocoa & old olive I believe...)
Thanks for coming by!

Karen Lockhart's wicker chair
First of all, I can't believe I WON this stamp! It was from Ellen Hutson & I won two others too- a daisy cupcake & seed packets. SO FUN! ANYhoo, I altered a frame for my sis-in-law with this paper she fell in love with at Paper Muse. It's by foof-a-la... I stamped the image on an AMUSE notecard with SU! ink, then paper pieced it & embossed it with nesties. Ribbon is also AMUSE. I colored the flowers & shaded the chair/cushions with prisma pencils. I love how this turned out & can't wait to use it again! :)

Birthday card
This card is for my Father-in-Law- his birthday is Tuesday! I took this picture at a design client's house- the bee on the lupine was so happy! I used some brushes in photoshop to add the flourish, then stamped 'celebrate' from PTI Life and embossed it with white powder. It's really old powder- I think it's Embossing Arts, but wouldn't swear to it. I used my rectangle nestability to emboss the bee, then colored the depression with white prismacolor pencil. I mounted it on shimmery silver cardstock that my neighbor gave me a while ago. I kinda like the mixed media thing here!
