boo cards!

Can you tell I'm loving that MM pp? I made these little square cards mainly from the scraps from the candy bar wrappers. The 'boo' is cut out with the cricut (stamped), and the little embellies are punche/or cut from the paper & I embossed with several layers of UTEE. Little stitching around the outside- and how cute is the little clothespin with the matching paper? :)
Same fun scraps, but used one of those yummy punches for the black along the top (fiskars, I think). The stamp is a $1 from Michaels or Joanns, stamped with brilliance & watercolored with SU! ink. I die cut it with labels 1, and used PTI vintage labels & the glue pad to get more of the FAB black glitter that I am still swooning over- but it doesn't show well in the pics! Black ribbon from my stash...
Both card bases are PTI vintage cream.

Halloween treats

Well, I'd been wanting to make some little treat sleeves for some candy bars for the special little kids in our life.... And since I bought the awesome pad for my Boo Banner- thought this would be a good use of the Memory Maker paper! Ribbon is offray, buttons & orange embroidery floss from my stash, twine is PTI. Same paper I printed on my computer for the banner!

Moxie Ruffles!

Well, it took me entirely too long to get this done, but I love it! And more importantly Hadley (my 4yo loves it!)
I'd been wanting to do another banner- and it gave me an excuse to get the MM Spook Alley paper! :) And I really wanted to give those paper accordions a try- like Kelly Lunceford's
Wow- they were so hard to get to stay down! I ended up having to stitch them down!
And the challenge at Moxie Fab World seemed like a good use of black ruffles!
PP is all spook alley, cream paper is PTI printed on the computer, backed with black cardstock & stitched. The letters were cut with my cricut (stamped cartridge)- the b is chipboard, but there were technical difficulties, so the o's are black cardstock. They are coated with versamark and covered with Martha Stewarts black onyx glitter *swoon*! I honestly wanted to cover everything in that yummy black sparkle! The little embellies were cut from the pp & covered with UTEE- how fun is that? They look store-bought! The buttons are sewn on with orange embroidery thread- both from my stash. The ribbon is Offray. The overall size was 5x7, and I adhered them to chipboard after adding the RUFFLE on top! A little fun stitching & distressing on the bottom!

SFYTT

I got busy with that paper from MME again- it's so pretty! Thought I'd use this week's sketch from Jen Del Muro. I'd link you to the sketch, but I keep getting an error message- dang!

Cardstock is PTI, stamps are an old SU! set, colored with prismacolor pencils. I cut the focal image with nesties. Buttons & rick-rack are from my stash, PTI twine.

While I had this stuff out I made another card with the same supplies. I used the sketch from 2sketches4you. I was too late to link it up, but liked the sketch, so I went with it! I also used some Martha Stewart brown twill & MM eyelets. And that border punch is ek success.

Gradient is Radiant!

I wasn't sure I'd be able to do this awesome Moxie Fab challenge- but I'm really happy I did! And what could be more perfect for 'gradient is radiant' than using Radiant Pearls!? :)
I used snowqueen, silver bells, whisper blue & midnight for my background paper (on watercolor paper). I then painted on the midnight to my PTI damask stamp & stamped it onto watercolor paper. Then let everything dry overnight! I used labels one nesties to cut the focal image & mounted it on creative memories blue cardstock. The ribbon is from Offray. You really have to click on the pics to see all the shimmer- it is so pretty in person!

Fall banner

I thought I'd have a go at making a fall banner after being inspired by Kelly Lunceford- http://flutterbyatomicbutterfly.blogspot.com/ . I justified buying the MME "fall in love" glitter pack, instead of buying individual sheets (thank you Michaels coupons!)- so all the pp is from that. Cardstock is PTI. I started with 5x7 paper & cut it into triangles. I used my nesties to make the ovals & ran them through the cuttlebug swiss dot folder. The letters are cut with the cricut (base camp?) and popped up on dimensionals. The buttons are from my stash, twill is martha stewart, twine is PTI. I also added stickles (can you ever have too much glitter?)- but none of that shows up in the pics! Darn night photos!
I actually think it looks pretty cute- although when I went back to Kelly's blog, I can tell which one of us is the novice! :)

everything but the kitchen sink challenge

Here's my take on the challenge- it was to use something that came in the mail that day- so I cut out these letters from a Ben Franklin ad.... Cardstock is PTI, border punches fiskars, twill Martha Stewart. Pp is MME, text is PTI background basics stamped with SU! close to cocoa. There's another one of the flowers I crocheted!!! :) And a flower brad from Making Memories in the center. This was pretty fun- and it forced me to break into that BRAND NEW My Mind's Eye paper pack- which my natural tendency would be to hoard!! Hahaha!
