Autism Awareness Day Blog Hop!

So happy to be a part of the May Arts Autism Awareness Day Hop again this year!
(You can see my project from last year HERE); this year we were to use the puzzle piece as our inspiration!
Here's what I came up with:

I painted several puzzle pieces with acrylic paint & when they were dry I lightly distressed & used them on my card!
I used a Dreamweaver Stencil on the card base (I'm kind of addicted to them!)
I tied the new 3" navy tulle & the 5/8" periwinkle cotton/stripe ribbon on top of that. I added some white wired colored string, wrapping it around a pencil for the curl.

Make sure you stop by all the blogs for your chance at 3 spools from our "blue" ribbons - winner's choice.  To win: post a comment along the way.

  4. Very pretty. The blue really pops off the card. It is clean and simple but very interesting.

  5. This is very elegant with the white background and the ribbon. The blue puzzle pieces are the focal point, which is perfect for the cause.
