MIM #176: Embossing paste backgrounds

This week the challenge is to use embossing paste for backgrounds. I don't have any cover plates (what!?) so I used a stencil from dreamweaver & also used spray inks from dreamweaver to color my embossing paste. I was shooting for an ombré look- sort of worked ;)

I also used the die from pretty peonies 3 times with DCWV paper to create the sentiment & the stamp is also from that set. A bit of May Arts burlap string in parrot green & a few sequins finish it off.

  3. Jen, both of the cards you made for this MIM challenge are just beautiful! I love how the cards' designs really allow the beautiful texture and dimension of the embossing paste to shine.
