Regardless, I needed to make a little thank you gift for my neighbor who had a sleep-over with Hadley's beta fish(Colorful Sparky is her name- the fish, not the neighbor) while we were gone.
She's a big-time sewing gal and also just got her real estate license- thought a fun notebook may be of use for her (her name is Susan, hence the 'S')

PTI vintage cream cardstock, October Afternoon pp, the Girls' Paperie stamps. The 'S' is cut with the storybook cart on my cricut- and the inks... PTI smokey shadow, versafine black, and I'm too tired to look at what the blue is- but it's a versamagic chalk....

What do you think of the closure? Another fine use for eyelets! I inked the edges of the 1/2" punched circle with that same blue I'm too lazy to check for you.
Oh I like!!! Thanks for the s. hemisphere shout out- winter storm brewing down here.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the tip on the eyelet enclosure! Great notebook and stylized design.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I would say that this is a perfect little thank you for Susan. And thanks for the inspiration - I need to pull out those 55 PTI notepads that I bought and do something with them. ha!
ReplyDeleteMessy stings - growing - *chuckle*. I'm so proud of you.
Pass on best wishes to Susan that she sells LOTS of homes!
Jen this is soooo fun and creative...AWESOME project!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful notebook. I'm sure your neighbor loved it. I'm with you, it's very hard to finish an indoor project with this fab weather!
ReplyDeleteIt would be a perfect notebook if it had an "M" for Michelle!! (hee hee)
ReplyDeleteThis is so cut, Jen! I love all the sewing elements!
