January 2011 PTI hop with Wee Moxie!


This month's hop was about using a set that hasn't been used, or one that's been not used enough! I pulled out my banner set, the music background & enjoy the ride- here's the result:

I stamped on vintage bookprint & machine sewed the banners on.
I also machine sewed that big bow (which is May Arts wrinkled ribbon- LOVE!)
Since I stayed with the pinks- I'm also linking this up to the Moxie monochromatic challenge! AND the Wee Memories challenge is anything goes- so here goes!

  11. So soft and soothing, and still a bit cheery. I didn't know May Arts made wrinkle ribbon! Here I spent a lot of the weekend trying to figure out how to make my own with their silk ribbon and it didn't turn out so pretty!

  20. I love this banner die on the bookprint. I never would have thought of that, but it is perfect!! I would have a hard time parting with that card!! :o) So pretty!!

  31. So delicate - so pretty!! I love the use of text paper for the banners - they look wonderful like this - love the way you've spaced the musical score and the sentiment together too - and that gorgeous bow is just the last word .... !!

  41. I just have to say that I love love love this card--I know I've already seen it five times (since it pops up in my RSS Feeder each time you change something)--but I don't mind! I just loooooove it! I LOVE that music with the sentiment on the bottom--totally CASING that! LOVE IT:)
