Jay Gee's with a little Moxie

Remember I said I had another card for the pretty Jay Gee's challenge? Couldn't be much more literal than this one!
I used Practicing Creativity's stamp set, paper pieced with PTI ocean tides (which I used versamark & PTI text on) & vintage text. Any coloring is with prisma pencils.

You can see I decided to add a pearl to a couple of the flowers, and the oval shadow is hard to see in the pic, but it's stamped with tea dye ink- chamomile or chai, I can't remember for sure which.

May Arts silk ribbon.

And I added a little bookmark as a small gift when I sent this card off- so I'll also add it to the Moxie Fab little gifts challenge!

I used spellbinders to die cut the felt, sewed on a button & hot-glued the two pieces together with a paperclip in the middle.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I'd love to hear what you think! :)

  1. Oh I LOVE the bicycle... (but we already knew that)... great job... and the bookmark is perfect. Remember that Etsy shop you're going to start! Or the school fair?

  2. Jen you did a fantastic job with paper piecing this bicycle. I love the text on the paper, such a sweet card. Also love your sweet little bookmark, how fun! Thanks for playing with us again at Jay Gee's :)

  3. LOVE your bike and the paper pieced basket!! That is soooo cute!!

  4. Oh my goodness that Bike is just toooo cute for words...darling!

  5. You sure know how to make a gal smile with your cards! Love the clean and simple design and the cute little pearl in the basket of flowers. Superb design, superb colors!

  6. What a sweet card Jen. Love that vintage text basket:)

  7. OH.MY.WORD. This card is so sweet. Makes me want to jump on a bike and take a ride in the warm sunshine. Well, except that I haven't taken a bike ride since I was about 12, so that probably wouldn't be a good idea 'cause I am SOOOO WAAAY past 12.

The little bookmark is adorable! I just may try my hand at making a few of those.

    Have a great week!!

  8. Hey Jen! Thanks for linking this up to the Little Gifts Challenge in the Moxie Fab World in celebration of 350 Cards & Gifts Week! Good luck in the random drawing! :)

  9. Jrn this card is fantastic!!! The paper pierced bicycle is the best paper piercing I have ever seen!!

    The bookmark was so sweet.

  10. I so wish I was going for a bicycle ride right now on a nice spring day! Awww...wishful thinking! This sure didn't look like it was easy to paper piece!

    Another classy card!

I appreciate you taking the time to come by- and your comments make my day! Thank you!!
