Teacher Appreciation Recap

I've been pretty absent in blogland lately! I'm a co-chair for our school's PTA hospitality committee, and as such, Teacher (Staff at our school) Appreciation is the big week. I made these water bottle tags (I posted the group of them here)- and had to make 2 more, so I snapped a pic this time. They turned out pretty cute & overall had a great response- but 135 was a lot to make. Lol.

One of the prizes was a drawing for massage gift certificates so I used those punches to decorate the container.
With all the work I was doing for the week from PTA it's kind of funny that I didn't get the gifts from US ready sooner! I found this cute printable & made chocolate chip cookies to fill them. I let Hadley pick out the patterned paper & do all the die cutting- she loves the Cuttlebug! :) Fortune Cookies would have been cuter, but I couldn't find any locally & the chocolate chip probably tasted better anyway. We'll go with that.
For Hadley's classroom teacher I used the Subway art I found here. While I appreciate the saying in the original "Practice makes Perfect" it's one that I don't like to use. Practice only makes you BETTER. So I figured out how to change that in photoshop. hee. Her teacher liked it & hung it right next to the door to the classroom. :)
If anyone wants this version just let me know!
So I'm sorry that I haven't been leaving love on all the blogs I love to visit! I'm still not caught up from that giant undertaking! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by!
TGIF!!!
ETA: I see May Arts is having a weekend giveaway! The Ribbon Lady Rocks. :) Head over for the details!!

  5. You have outdone yourself! The teachers are so blessed to have a dedicated parent like you. And yes, I didn't like that "practice makes perfect" line either; so smart of you to change it.
