This month we had a photo inspiration (see below)- and I'm always such a literal girl!
I used the Spellbinders die with contact paper for a mask, colored with watercolor pencils & added water.
Voila!
What do you think? Before I added the water I was thinking that I had chosen poorly, but as soon as the watercolor effect happened I was a bit smitten.
Vellum panel so that the sentiment (from botanical blocks) didn't cover much of the pattern- gold heat embossing.
Here's the inspiration pic. I should've done more blue, but was going mostly from memory...
The night pics really aren't doing it justice. boo.
