PDCC #117

Hi there! I'm finally posting one of the cards I did while Erin & Flat Karen were here. Err. I mean started. Those are all Erin's stamps/dies, so THAT part was done a couple of days ago. Yes, it took me until last night to finish it. I though I'd finished both of the cards we started, but as I was looking at the photo of the other one, I decided it needed stitching. hmph.
Anywho.
I used the PDCC colors- and this card base was the closest I had to the blue- can you believe I am OUT of vintage cream? The horror. It's forcing me to use other colors as bases. That's probably not a bad thing. ;)
So the ink is SU! pale plum, Versamagic aspen mist, and versamark, vintage cream. You may have guessed that the ribbon is May Arts. hee.
I've got the plum flower on thin zap dots, and the blue one is on 2 thicker, stacked zap dots. I also used prisma pencils to give the flowers a little more depth...

And Hadley had a birthday party to go to today, so she made a card. I'd say couches are by far her fave to use. She makes these glorious little scenes. This time she also framed a bitty block for some additional artwork.
Can you see the miters on her frame? Cracks.me.up.
AND I wouldn't want you to miss out on a weekend giveaway over at May Arts! Head over & check it out!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I'd love to hear what you think!

  2. Tell Hadley that her scene is fabulous and I love the pretty pink with all those fun different patterns (and coffee!!!). Yours is fabulous... perhaps I should try blue bases? Now it's your turn to come to my craft room.

  3. Wow, Jen, this is one amazing card, the blues and nods of purple are so dreamy. I think I ought to commission Hadley to design some furniture from my room, as her choice of couch pattern and color is great! Two fabulous cards.
