MIM #242: Sponged Stamping

This week the challenge at PTI was to used sponged stamping- and in trying to embrace a color that frightens me, I looked for all the purple I had in my stash of inks.
There wasn't much.
I did find 2 that had enough contrast, both from Tsukineko: Radiant Neon 'Electric Purple', and MementoLuxe 'lilac posies'.

I used the Bitty Butterflies stamps & cover plate and layered them over a piece of shimmery purple DCWV paper.

I am not at all enjoying a case of the shingles this weekend- as well as giving my daughter constructive criticism on her science fair power point (which went much better than I'd have guessed!). I wasn't sure I would even be able to participate this week- so pretty happy I could conquer my purple fear at the same time!
