PDCC #68 & OTWC #45 & Wee 43!

Isn't this week's inspiration full of loveliness?

And how about this-

vintage-pretty, so here's what I came up with:

I had to force myself into not having the edges line up! I've got LOTS of layered goodness here!
I started by stamping the house/grass from PTI's love lives here on fabric. Then I used MS doily punch on some beautiful Graphic 45 Once upon a springtime paper. That's layered between May Arts satin pleats, topped with May Arts crochet & velvet ric rac. May Arts wrinkle ribbon that I tea stained makes the bow, with a flower punched from a Starbucks sleeve topped with a flower I crocheted. I swiped a bit of white paint across the sleeve so it didn't look so 'new'! The doily frame is nesties, with the center cut out. Lots of stitching with strings left here & there....

I tried to make it messy- what do you think?
Lots of time left in the Play Date challenge AND OTWC! (totally out of character, I know!)- so head over & play!
Since this is a 'congrats on your new home' card for my Aunt- I'd say that qualifies as a 'life/living' theme! So I'm adding it to the Wee Memories challenge too!
Thanks soooo much for stopping by!

    Loving this to bits :-)
Love all the layers, and LOVE all the texture. And I know what you mean about fighting the urge to make straight lines from everything.
