This month the challenge for the PTI hop is to use a lovely photo inspiration- here's my take:
I started with a berry sorbet card base. I embossed the damask designs plate onto vintage cream cardstock using a letterpress technique (chai ink). I must admit, when I took the impression plate off I caught my breath- I LOVE how this turned out!
I used some tissue paper that is very similar in color to the berry sorbet to make the flowers (with a scalloped punch) & May Arts satin leaves. I stamped the individual image onto May Arts twill with colorbox chalk ink in rouge & frayed the edges just a bit. I rounded the top of the card & focal panel, to pick up the shape of the suitcase.
Thanks so much for stopping by- have fun hopping! (click here for the list of participants!)

ReplyDeleteSeriously girlfriend, this is amazing. I tried that technique too with the impression plate (but was trying black on kraft) and it didn't work! Must try your color combo next time.
