Birthday Candle

Yes, this is the card I meant to post nearly a month ago! sheesh!
I used that Heather Bailey paper to make the candle, and May Arts curly/sparkling ribbon for the 'flame'
The cardbase is PTI white cardstock, and I scored a frame around the candle for some extra pizzazz.
I thought this said birthday on its own, so I left the sentiment off the front. What do you think?
And the May Arts/October Afternoon Swap was a huge success (yes, still sad I missed it!)- but there's still time for you to win some goodies! Make sure to leave comments on all the posts this week for more chances to win!!!
And in super fun news:
Thanks to all at Wee Memories!!! WOOHOO!!!

  1. What a fun card, I love the idea of the ribbon for the flames, and to go sentimentless is a fine idea!

  2. Well now, how clever is this?!! Love how the image says it all. Call me impressed!

  3. SUPER cute--love that white space and I love the scored box! FAB FAB FAB:)

  4. I think this card is perfect without the sentiment! So creative to use the ribbon for the flame. And congrats again on your well-deserved Wee Memories win!

I appreciate you taking the time to come by- and your comments make my day! Thank you!!
