Doesn't that cat crack you up? He reminds me of one of the guys from the Village People for some reason- probably the expression!!

Here's my take:

I'm using Concord & 9th Happy Day! I've stamped it in Versafine Black ink on Bristol Vellum paper & colored it with zigs. The ultrafine candles are lit with Delicata gold ink. 

Won't this be perfect for a near-Halloween birthday?

A whole lotta of Concord & 9th! 

I've stamped the Concord & 9th Tree Ring in Versafine Sepia Ink, then using the same ink I stamped the sentiment and splatters from Hello Lovely. Wouldn't the sentiments from Give Thanks be perfect too?

Those leaves!!! Gah!

I was trying to incorporate all of the colors and that fall feel in the inspiration so I used my zigs on Bristol paper and the Layering Leaves Dies. I really dig how it turned out!

A few sequins would have been great, but I still haven't uncovered them. I suspect they may be packed until the house is built!

Here's my take:

I adore this sweet Neat and Tangled set, My Favorite Nut! I've stamped the image with Versafine sepia ink on Bristol paper and used my zigs to color. 

I've layered Gina Marie dies for my focal panel: Scalloped Stitched Rectangle Dies and Nested Scalloped Stitched Rectangles- I think it made for a fun accent!

Time for a bit of mid-challenge inspiration at The Heart Desires!

Here's my inspiration for you this go-round:

I'm kind of hooked on Flora & Fauna- I've used the Birthday Set with gold foil again because I loved how it looked together! This time I've used lots of Fresh Ink from Impress, a bit of zigs (always on bristol paper!) and prisma pencils for the macaroons & framed it up with a Gina Marie Die!

Hard to believe it's already time for another challenge at The Heart Desires!

Seriously- possibly my favorite so far!

Here's my take:

I've put the Flora & Fauna (shocking, I know!) Birthday Set to work for this challenge!

I've used the inspiration colors and pic to color it with my zigs and my Zig Watercolor detail brush on Bristol paper.

The background tassel is stamped with Delicata gold ink and a few are foiled with gold- my first take on foiling! I know I'm super late to the party- but I am pretty excited with the outcome!

I'm excited to see how everyone is inspired by this mood board!!

The Heart Desires mid Challenge #14

I'm back with a little mid-challenge inspiration for The Heart Desires Challenge #14!

So many beautiful images!

Here are my takes:

I'm really enjoying all of the Flora & Fauna sets the store carries- I've put the Glass Dome Set to work for both of my cards today. 

I was inspired to create that sunset in the mood board- and thought it was fun to capture it in the dome!

The next one also uses the Glass Dome Set & the sunset inspiration, but it also has the cute bird & flag image from the Birthday Set, and is on a panel cut with a Gina Marie Scalloped Stitched Rectangle Die and the glass dome portion is covered in Glossy Accents!

The Heart Desires Challenge #14

Time for a new challenge at The Heart Desires!

Hopefully everyone had a wonderful Independence Day- summer officially starts in the PNW today!

We've got another great inspiration board for you:

Here's my take:

Yep, completely in love with the Under the Sea set from Flora & Fauna- it's the set that got me hooked (hahahaha!). Sorry- couldn't resist!!!

I've stamped it with Versafine onyx ink on Bristol paper, colored with zigs & my Watercolor Detail Brush20, then fussy cut the images. The background was created with Turquoise Brushos & framed with the Gina Marie scalloped stitched rectangles die.

The sentiment & bubbles are heat embossed in white. Can you see the bit of shimmer on her tail? A little stickles....

No doubt this set will get lots of use in our house!

I've put the Concord & 9th Sweet & Cool set to work wit the inspiration colors on Bristol paper. The sentiment is stamped in Versafine Onyx Black. A few ink spatters & sequins finish this CAS treat off! 

This is such a fun set- super versatile- I was excited to put it to use for the challenge!

Camp Create: Day 3 & 4

Two more creations to share for Camp Create at MFT!

Day 3 is Spectacular Shakers- here's my take:

Those Adorable Elephants make me smile every time I see them!

I've colored the elephant with zigs & the butterflies with prisma pencils. 

The fun paper is from Stampin Up- Thanks Danielle!

Day 4 Was Sensational Sliders!

This my very first try at a slider/magic color card! Toni & Lenae make amazing ones all the time so I thought I'd give it a try! Now I know why people like to make them- so fun!!

 I've put I Knead You stamps to work!

The kitty is colored with zigs & the background is Distress Oxide- Broken China & Cracked Pistachio. I am LOVING them!!

Paper is ancient MME pad- glad I still like it!

One more for a better view of the stars!

The Heart Desires Challenge #13

 We are back with another fabulous challenge at The Heart Desires!

So many ways to be inspired!

Here's my take:

I have to admit, when I found out The Heart Desires was going to be carrying the Flora & Fauna line, I may have squealed! I adore all of the images!

I've used the Flora & Fauna Birthday Set for this card- who could resist that image?

I've used the inspiration for my color choices- zigs with my watercolor detail brush20 & a couple of prismacolor pencils for the red flowers. The image is stamped on Bristol paper with versafine onyx ink (my go-to for zig colroing) but I've used a layer of DCWV paper cut with my Gina Marie Scalloped Circle Frame Die- using the frame as an inlaid piece. 

A few sequins & twine finish it off!

The Heart Desires Mid-Challenge Inspiration #12

I'm back with some mid-challenge inspiration for The Heart Desires! Hard to believe it's the middle of May!!

Here's what I came up with:

This Concord & 9th set is one not to be missed! I've used the Happy Words stamps with the Happy Card Frame die set- and I was smitten with the results!

I used the bottom left image as my inspiration on this one- but all the images and colors are so lovely! I hope you'll join us!

ETA: I had good intentions of adding this to the current Where Creativity Meets C9 challenge too- it's all about florals! Better late than never!

The Heart Desires Challenge #12

So hard to believe it's time for another challenge! Here is your beautiful inspiration for Challenge #12:

Here's what I've come up with:

I've used Altenew Beautiful Lady; after heat embossing in white, I colored with Zigs. Some ink spatter on the base layer, and roughing up of the focal panel was finished off with a sentiment (tying in the challenge colors). There is also some wink of stella on the blooms, but it doesn't show in the photograph at all!

I can't wait to see how you are inspired by this beautiful challenge!

The Heart Desires Mid-Challenge Inspiration #11

I'm back with some mid-challenge inspiration for The Heart Desires!

This card is smaller than I usually create- 3.5"x 4.5"- but the scale seemed perfect for the adorable Lawn Fawn Stinkin' Cute image! I stamped the little cutie in Versafine Onyx Black on Bristol paper & colored with zigs & my zig Watercolor Detail Brush20. 

I stamped 2 of the flowers with gray ink & used them in the back- the front flowers are popped up with dimensional adhesive. The flowers were also colored with zigs & a little clear Wink of Stella gives them a bit of shimmer.

The sentiment is Avery Elle- I LOVE the font!

The flowered panel is old fabric paper & it seemed perfect for this challenge!

Speaking of the challenge- LOTS of time left to play & so many sweet ways to be inspired!

The Heart Desires Challenge #11

So hard to believe April is already here! With it comes a new The Heart Desires Challenge!!

Look at this fabulous inspiration:

Here's what I came up with:

I found patterned paper that had most of the colors in it to use as my base (Old Echo Park, I believe).

I cut a focal panel with Gina Marie Scalloped Stitched Nested Rectangle dies & stamped the CUTEST image from Cottontail Cuties! Actually, all the images are so darling!

I colored her up with my zigs & zig watercolor detail brush20.

I masked off the frame & then sponged in the sky around her. A little sentiment flag is heat embossed in white with dimensional adhesive it to keep the middle popped up. A bit of silk to finish it off!

 I'm back with some mid-challenge inspiration for you for the beautiful THD Challenge #10!

So many beautiful choices to inspire you!

Here's what I came up with:

I've die cut a piece of vellum with Gina Marie Scalloped Stitched rectangle dies, then heat embossed the Neat & Tangled Hope Anchors stamp in gold. A few sequins from the Neat & Tangled Peacock mix add some interest. If you haven't seen this mix- it is YUMMY! So many fabulous colors and each color in several sizes!!

The vellum panel is machine stitched to the hexagon patterned paper (old basicgrey).

Still LOTS of time to play along- looking forward to seeing how you're inspired!

I know everyone is shocked that I used the Gina Marie Scalloped Stitched Nested Rectangle Dies, as well as the Gina Marie Scalloped Circle Frames Dies

I thought the Concord & 9th Map Love was the perfect set for this challenge! I've used Delicata golden glitz ink and heat embossed it gold on vellum paper. I stamped the earth image on the card base below. A few sequins finish it off!

I've used Concord and 9th Wildflower set on Bristol paper with Versafine Onyx Black Ink & put my zigs to work to color with the inspiration colors. 

To create the border, I used a Gina Marie Scalloped Stitched Rectangle die to emboss the focal panel.

The Altenew Beautiful Lady sentiment is heat embossed with white powder on black cardstock & popped up.
